Olympia Morata-Programm of Heidelberg University

Heidelberg University provides with the Olympia Morata-Program positions to support female (i.e. FLINTA*) postdoctoral researchers with an outstanding qualification project in the R2 Phase (the doctorate should have been completed no longer than 3-4 years ago).


 

 

 

 

The Olympia Morata funding program is currently open for applications.

The submission deadline has expired. We will inform you here in due course about a new round of tenders.


 

 

PROGRAM

The aim of the Olympia Morata-Program is to support above-average female (i.e. FLINTA*) postdoctoral researchers with an outstanding qualification project in the R2 Phase (the doctorate should have been completed no longer than 3-4 years ago).

The program consists of five pillars (as illustrated in the following figure):

  1. Funds for a part-time position (pay grade 13/TV-L); it is assumed that the institutes at which the applicants work will also provide part-time positions (EG 13/TV-L) or corresponding personnel funds;
  2. Coaching, consultations and career development consultations;
  3. Networking(events);
  4. Continuing education and courses
  5. Eligibility to apply to the FundFamily

The selection of candidates is based on an evaluation of the applications received by a selection committee.  

Interested party can obtain information and advice from Carmen Waiblinger (carmen.waiblinger@uni-heidelberg.de; until mid-November from Marina Ladan, marina.ladan@uni-heidelberg.de) at UNIFY (Unit for Family, Diversity and Equality) and then receive the questionnaire form, which is necessary for the complete documents.

OLYMPIA MORATA PROGRAM OF THE MEDICAL FACULTY HEIDELBERG

Female medical scientists at Heidelberg University have the opportunity to apply for positions in the Medical Faculty's own Olympia Morata Program as well: Olympia Morata-Program of the Medical Faculty Heidelberg. We recommend that female medical scientists make an appointment with the Research Dean's Office at the Heidelberg Medical Faculty for advice before submitting an application and to find out about the different application deadlines.
